Throughout the lockdowns people had to get creative to keep themselves entertained at home. Creating a virtual pub quiz is a great example of this, and is a nice way to gather friends and family to share an activity online.
To create your own quiz, you’ll need to make a few key decisions first – how many rounds will you have? general knowledge, music, sports and photo rounds are all popular choices. Who will be the quiz master? and which platform will you use? Zoom, Skype and Google Hangouts are a few of the options available. Once you’ve got all of that sorted then comes the question writing. If you don’t want to do all of this yourself, you could always recruit a friend or relative to help out.
If you like the idea of a quiz night but would rather not organise it, you could try out one of the online quiz providers. Goose’s Quizzes is now running online quizzes every night at 7pm.

How can I help someone to do this?
Creating a quiz could be quite a big job, so you could offer to help out with the organisation – sending out invites to possible participants, writing questions, researching the best platform to use, and maybe even performing the role of quiz master.
