Whether you are a keen bird watcher or a beginner, the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch is a great way to get involved, and you’ll also be helping with local data collection.  You can choose your location; a local park, your garden, or balcony and the RSPB provide printable resources to help you with bird identification.

There will also be online events during the weekend (January 29th – 31st), with experts sharing their photographs, footage, and answering questions from the public.

How can I help someone to do this?

You could help someone to register for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, and maybe print off some of the resources available from the RSPB website.  It might be nice to do the bird count together if possible, depending on distancing restrictions at the time of the event.
