Lockdown restrictions are easing slightly and the government has released their plan for the future gradual lift of lockdown measures.  So what has changed?

There is now no limit on time allowed for exercise. People in England are also allowed to meet with one other person from a different household.  These meetings must be outdoors and people must remain 2 metres apart.

People over 70, considered vulnerable, or with pre-existing medical conditions should continue to minimise contact with others outside their households.

For more details of the changes, including plans for when people can return to work, school and university, how we should be travelling and if we should be wearing face masks, see these articles from the BBC and The Guardian.  The BBC article also contains useful links with lockdown details for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

How can I help someone to do this?

You could select the measures that directly affect someone you know and give them a call to check they are clear and see if they have any questions or concerns.
